You have stayed in the right hotels.

You have eaten at the famous restaurant.

And you still came home having seen the Sicily everyone sees.

You think you have done Sicily. You haven't.

There is another islands beneath the one on the itineraries: the family tables, the boutique wine producers, the kitchens where the local with good taste dine.

If you're drawn to Sicily for more, then you've found the right place.

Let me show you my Sicily.

What is the Sicily Insider Experience

This is not a tour. Not an itinerary you assemble from a dozen browser tabs.

A small number of private days, shaped around you and hosted from the first-pick up to the last pour from someone who was born in Sicily, trained in its wine and food, spent a decade in London's wine trade before coming home.

She takes you inside and translate the island and stories.

This is the version of Sicily you simply couldn't find or create yourself.

The Sicily, Sicilians keep for themselves

What you'll remember

Sitting at a winemaker's own table on the slopes of Etna or in west Sicily, drinking a an exceptional bottle.

Coming home to say our wine friend in Sicily took us, not our guide

Why it's different

There are hundreds of producers in Sicily. Silvia knows which handful matter, and is welcome where money alone won't get you a seat.

Everywhere else, you get one of the two things: a foreigner selling someone else's island, or a local without the credentials or experience to read a cellar.

The relationship aren't sourced. They're hers.

Who this is not for

People who prefer commercial experiences, famous touristy spots and are  budget-friendly.

Who is this for

People who travel well and are quietly tired of being processed, who appreciate exceptional boutique wines and who would rather introduced than sold to.

If that's you, it begins with a conversation.

What clients say

"We had a really great day with Silvia. We were met promptly at out hotel on the coast at 10am by Silvia and her driver (as arranged the day before) to start our day of exploring wines of Mount Etna. We headed to the first of three wineries and as with the other two, we met the winemaker, we had a tour of the terror or the storage and wine making facilities. We had many questions and they were all answered and extra information offered. We had lunch at the second winery with views of Mount Etna and excellent food This isn't a corporate type wine tasting experience and not designed to be. We have tried (and bought a few) great wines, had a long day that flew by. We have learnt a lot more about wines in this area (which was the original intention) and had a great day at the same time. Highly recommended!"
